PROCESSES OF PRODUCTION

Stainless steel is more resistant to corrosion in compare to simple steel, although it isn’t absolutely nonrusting. The surface layer of oxide gives the anticorrosive characteristics. This protective passive film is thin – its weight is only few atoms, made when elements of nickel and chromium bind to oxygen taken from air or water.

Resistance of steel to corrosion is achieved thanks to additives that form the dense protective film on the surface of steel. This protective film is connected with the steel basis and protecting from the direct contact with environment.

TECHNICAL DATA

  • Color of steel is obtained by use of titanium nitride compound. Different colors of metal are achieved during this type of treatment.
  • Several types of stainless steel surface are available: mirror (gloss), semi-matt and matt (polished). Also the look of ageing effect is really impressive.
  • Stainless steel sheets from 0.8 to 2 mm are used in production.
  • LED modules or neon tubes are used for the lighting of advertising.

APPROPRIATE MAINTENANCE

Clean the sign board at least once a year. The preventive cleaning performed once per year with specialized cleaners, intended for the stainless steel, shall prolong the exploitation period and help to sustain the initial look.

CLEANING MEANS

Simple cleaning must be performed in the direction of texture. It is recommended to use sprayed cleaners that facilitate the cleaning through evenly sprayed thin layer of cleaner. These cleaners eliminate the finger prints and other minor impurities and reduce the possibility of its further appearance.

Specialized stainless steel cleaners, intended for lime sediments and rust, must be used for the cleaning of more resistance traces. You can buy them from the specialized enterprises, offering the different means of surface maintenance. The residues of cleaning products after cleaning must be removed with fresh or distilled water, in order to avoid the traces of draining water, in particular if water was hard.

Traces of the finger prints are the most clearly seen on the surfaces of mirror finish polishing. Such traces can be removed with soapy water or special cleaning mean and soft cloths. It is recommended to polish the cleaned surface with dry material.

FORBIDDEN CLEANING MEANS

It is forbidden to clean the stainless steel surfaces with products that contain hydrochloric acids, chlorides. Also you shouldn’t use scouring powders, as these products contain the abrasive particles and can leave the scratches on surfaces. If these products were already used for the cleaning of stains on the stainless steel surfaces, it must be washed with fresh water and cleaned with special means that removes the present oxides and other compounds.
